Camp Perry is an Ohio National Guard base located on the shores of Lake Erie. It has a small, but interesting collection of outdoor static displays. In 1903, Teddy Roosevelt established an annual rifle marksmanship event, The National Matches, and since 1907, these matches have been held at Camp Perry, establishing it as the home of rifle marksmanship in the US. The Civilian Marksmanship Program has an office, a store, and an indoor air rifle/pistol range on this location. Besides santioning the National Matches at this location, they also hold a series of smaller rifle matches throughout the summer.
